Business Corporate Hotel Sales ManagerWe are seeking an experienced, solid performer with a proven track record to implement successful strategies to achieve hotel profitability through sales revenue generation. Candidate must be highly skilled at identifying and converting new markets, developing & executing sales strategies. This is a Full Time, on-site position. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life, supplemental life, 401K, health club access, employee discounted room rates, incentive payouts & PTO.

Salary range: $60,000- $100,000.

Duties
  • Targets results-oriented high revenue potential sales calls to ensure a successful direct sales program in accordance with goals established by department budget and marketing plan.
  • Captures competitor's accounts through networking, research and reader board surveys in order to target and solicit those most probable to generate new business.
  • Acquires referrals from existing accounts: Follows up on all leads within 48 hours of receipt in an effort to create new business for the hotel.
  • Plans and implements an on-going Targeted Account Development "hit list" in order to create new revenue and acquire valuable hotel contacts and contracts.
  • Continually targets and prospects for new business through telemarketing, individual creativity and innovation.
  • Develop a sales strategy by analyzing historical, current and future hotel market trends and create selling strategies to capture the maximum amount of revenue to meet & exceed goals.
  • Maintain accurate, legible records and files to provide group history to ensure future and current quality service and enhance future proposals.
  • Must have own reliable transportation and possess a valid state driver's license in order to make sales calls.
  • Performs all other related duties, projects and reports as assigned by Director.


Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years Sales experience preferably in the Hospitality industry.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to assess situations quickly and make informed decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance improvement.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are necessary for effective interaction with guests and staff alike.

Restaurant Line Cook/Banquet Prep Cook*Immediate position for AM line cook, 5AM – 1:30 pm, including weekends. $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Full time benefits include: Medical/Dental/Vision/ Life, 401K, Employee Discounted Room Rates, Health Club Access, PTO. Part Time benefits include: PTO, Employee Discounted Room Rates and Health Club access.
  • Full Time/Part Time Culinary positions available, primarily in restaurant, but can flex to banquet kitchen.
  • Responsible for food preparation, execution, and plating of food items to exceed guest expectations. Execute fast & efficient service of all menu items, ensuring proper cooking methods, and preparing food according to standardized recipes.
  • Ensure safe handling, cooking, and storing of food.
  • Responsible for overall cleanliness of the kitchens and equipment.
  • Must work well independently, following daily prep list established by the Executive Chef.
  • Sanitation license or Food Handler certified.
  • Must be able to walk/stand for up to 8 hours or more, carry/move loads up to 50 pounds, move distances between hotel and convention center, have 20/20 vision with/without corrective lenses, must be able to speak and understand fluent English, handle multiple tasks at one time prioritizing needs, and work in a fast-paced kitchen environment working well with others.

Maintenance/Convention Center Care SpecialistFull Time Position, variable shift, $19.00 - $21.00, benefits include health club access, employee discounted room rates, PTO & 401K.

Minimum 2 years of experience performing general repairs. Must be proficient with various computer controlled systems & possess proven skill in the use of basic tools required to make general and cosmetic repairs. Must have knowledge of the Convention Center’s facilities and its operations & be able to read, write and understand English fluently.
Candidate must be guest-centric, possessing excellent customer service skills.

Position is responsible for the overall upkeep of the Convention Center; responsible for performing regularly scheduled operational inspections of the physical facility and facility systems and for making any needed repairs and /or improvements to restore the facility to its original “perfect working order” condition.
Position responds to hotel guestroom calls for minor plumbing, electric, carpentry, and guestroom needs.
Banquet Set-Up House AttendantFull Time and Part Time, morning/evening shifts available. Previous meeting and event set-up experience preferred. Excellent customer service skills, ability to multi-task, read/understand room set-up, be detail oriented, self-directed and work well under pressure.
Room AttendantPart Time available. $15.00 – 16.00, first shift. Benefits include: PTO, 401K, Discounted IHG Room Rates, Health Club access

Previous experience a plus but will train. Must have excellent customer service skills, detail oriented, ability to work in a fast paced environment & understand brand standards in regards to a clean, inviting, restful guestroom.

Key Responsibilities:


Guest Room Cleaning
  • Make beds, change linens, and replace towels.
  • Dust, vacuum, and sanitize all surfaces.
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms, showers, and fixtures.
  • Restock toiletries, wellness amenities, and in-room supplies.
Guest Interaction
  • Provide courteous assistance when guests request extra items.
  • Report maintenance issues or safety hazards immediately.
  • Uphold EVEN Hotels’ wellness brand standards in every interaction.
Operational Support
  • Follow housekeeping checklists and hotel procedures.
  • Work closely with supervisors and other team members.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and report any malfunctions.
Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks (lifting, bending, standing).
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Prior housekeeping or hospitality experience preferred but not always required.
Work Environment
  • Fast-paced hotel setting with daily guest turnover.
  • Flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
  • Emphasis on wellness, meaning staff are expected to embody and promote a healthy, balanced atmosphere.
Dishwasher/StewardPart time, morning evening shifts available, $15.00 - $15.50, Part Time benefits include: PTO, Employee Discounted Room Rates and Health Club access. Previous experience preferred. Must work well with the kitchen team, be self-directed and work well under pressure. Illinois State Food Handler Certificate, ServSafe Food Handler Certificate or Illinois State Food Service Sanitation License required.
Banquet Server/Bartender1 year high volume, high quality service experience preferred. Must possess excellent customer service skills, ability to multi task, work well under pressure, and be customer-centric. Must be able to carry 35 lbs above the shoulder, stand walk for 8-10 hours per shift, professional appearance required. Illinois State Food Handler Certificate, ServSafe Food Handler Certificate or Illinois State Food Service Sanitation License required.
